The Challenge.
PwC Academy runs leadership and development programmes for some of the largest organisations in the Gulf. Its faculty are skilled facilitators and its clients expect something well beyond a slide deck. The gap was a repeatable, hands-on exercise the Academy could own and deliver itself, in Dubai one week and Riyadh the next, without shipping an agency in each time.
The brief was for a kit that PwC’s own people could run, that would hold up to board-level audiences and that could be re-skinned for a client’s own content when the programme requires it.
The Kit.
Six UNPACK kits, with PwC Academy staff taking part in a Train-the-Trainer package. The Academy used the standard scenarios for its leadership cohorts and commissioned bespoke scenarios where a client programme needed its own story for example; a values launch for Riyadh Air
Teams of up to eight work under time pressure. The facilitator watches rather than leads, tagging who stepped up, who deferred and where the team lost time, all with the assistance of the facilitator portal.
The Outcome.
4500 participants through the kits across 65 programmes in two years, delivered by PwC Academy’s own team across the Middle East.
The kits continue to be used as an experiential training tool.
The most powerful learning happens when people are challenged, under pressure and working together towards a shared goal. That’s what makes UNPACK great.
